ROCHESTER, NY – On Saturday, the RIT women’s tennis team hosted the Oswego State Lakers. The Tigers shut out the Lakers 9-0. This win improves the Tigers record to 3-2 and the Lakers fall to 1-4.
First doubles team of
Brianne Francisco (Amsterdam, NY/Amsterdam) (Amsterdam, NY/Amsterdam) and
Lindsey Brady (Emmaus, PA/Emmaus) (Emmaus, Pa/Emmaus) and third doubles team of
Aimee Holmberg (Wilbraham, MA/Minnechaug) (Wilbraham, MA/Minnechaug) and
Michelle Nicholson (Grove City, PA/Grove City) (Grove City, PA/Grove City) both won their matches 8-2. Second doubles team of
Leigh Bryson (Wallingford, CT/Mark T. Sheehan) (Wallingford, CT/Mark T. Sheehan) and
Melanie Blass (Bridgeport, NY/Chittenango) (Chittenango, NY/Chittenango) battles back to win 9-7.
In singles,
