PITTSFORD, NY -
Pitchers Mary Keegan (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca West) (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca West) and Allie Sitton (Baltimore, MD/The Park School) (Baltimore, MD/The Park School) combined to allow just one and 10 hits over 14 innings, as the RIT Softball team completed a doubleheader sweep over conference rival St. John Fisher on Tuesday by scores of 2-1 and 6-0.

Senior shortstop Gretchen Goodhue (Sanford, ME/Sanford) (Sanford, ME/Sanford) provided all of the offense for RIT in game one, ripping a two-run single in the top of the first inning, driving in Breana Sniezek (Lewisburg, PA/Lewisburg) (Lewisburg, PA/Lewisburg) and Caitlin Krumm (Buffalo, NY/Williamsville North) (Buffalo, NY/Williamsville North).

Sitton did the rest, allowing just six hits and walking four while going the distance, striking out 11 for her fourth win of the season.

In game two, Keegan tossed a four-hit complete game, striking out six for her fourth win of the season.

Krumm reached base four times and sparked a six-run third inning rally.  Josa Hanslik (Fairport, NY/Fairport) and Megan Varner (Apalachin, NY/Owego Free) (Apalachin, NY/Owego Free Academy) each tallied a two-run single in the inning.  Goodhue also drove in a run.

RIT (9-9, 4-0 Empire 8) will look to keep its unblemished conference record intact on Wednesday, as they host Utica in a doubleheader, starting at 3:30 p.m.
