LEE COUNTY, FL - The RIT Softball team used a two-run fifth inning to rally from a 2-1 deficit and a strong outing from pitcher Allie Sitton (Baltimore, MD/The Park School) (Baltimore, MD/The Park School) to upend Alma College 3-2 on Thursday, March 3rd.

Caitlin Krumm (Buffalo, NY/Williamsville North) (Buffalo, NY/Williamsville North) singled home Megan Varner (Apalachin, NY/Owego Free) (Apalachin, NY/Owego Free Academy) with the tying run with one out in the fifth inning. Krumm advanced to second on a passed ball and then scored on a double hit by Josa Hanzlik (Fairport, NY/Fairport) (Fairport, NY/Fairport), which gave RIT the decisive 3-2 lead.

Sitton allowed just four hits and two runs in seven innings.  She walked seven and struck out six.
