Men's Swimming Falls to Alfred

ALFRED, NY -- The RIT men's swimming and diving team was defeated by Alfred University, 111-125 this afternoon in Empire 8 swimming action.

Erik Zelbacher (Victor, NY/) (Victor, NY/Victor) and Quinn Donahoe (Syracuse, NY/) (Syracuse, NY) each won a pair of individual events, while Adam Luptak (Idaho Falls, ID/Skyline High School) added a win in the 100-yard butterfly (55.88).

Zelbacher won the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 21.69 and the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 47.74. Donahoe swept both diving events. He won the one-meter board with a score of 295.15 and the three-meter with a score of 253.20.

The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Zelbacher, Brian Duffy (Clarence, NY/) (Clarence, NY), Tyler Morrison (Hartford, CT/) (Hartford, NY) and Jon Scibilia (Rochester, NY/) (Rochester, NY) placed first with a time of 1:29.41.
