Women's Swimming and Diving Fell to University of Rochester

ROCHESTER, NY - The RIT women's swimming and diving team fell to crosstown rival University of Rochester on Saturday, 165-75 at the Judson Pool.

Sarah Keesler (Endicott, NY/) (Endicott, NY) won a pair of individual events for the Tigers, as she placed first in the 200-yard IM in a time of 2:20.88 and the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:12.52.

The team of Teresa Burr (Delhi, NY/) (Delhi, NY), Keesler, Kristen Curtze (Edinboro, PA) and Jessica Schaefer (Bethel Park, PA/)(Bethel Park, PA) won the 200-yard medley relay in a time of 1:58.31.

Burr finished second in the 100 and 200-yard freestyle events with times of :56.59 and 2:05.42, respectively. She also won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:04.62.

Curtze placed second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.90. The freshman sprinter also finished second the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 1:04.48.
