Women's Swimming Falls to St. Lawrence

CANTON, NY -- The RIT women's swimming/diving team lost a close meet to St. Lawrence on Saturday, 120-113. The loss drops RIT to 0-2 in dual meets.

The Tigers featured three multiple-event winners led by Sarah Keesler (Endicott, NY/) (Endicott, NY). She won the 200-yard IM in a time 2:20.52 and the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 2:36.51.

Freshman Kristin Curtze (Edinboro, PA/) (Edinboro, PA) won both sprint events. She won the 50-yard freestyle ina time of 25.91 and the 100-yard fresstyle in a time of 56.71.

Keeseler, Curtze, Teresa Burr (Delhi, NY/) (Delhi, NY) and Sarah Lind (Syosset, NY/) (Syosset, NY) teamed up to win the 400-yard medley relay in a time of 4:21.40. Burr also captured a win in the 200 fresstyle in a time of 2:04.77.

Junior diver Gretchen Anderson (Coopersburg, PA/) (Coopersburg, PA) swept both boards for the Tigers. She won the one-meter board with a score of 207.35 and the three-meter board in an identical score of 207.35.
