Men's Soccer Falls to UR

ROCHESTER, NY --
The RIT men's soccer team fell to nationally ranked University of Rochester, 2-0 this evening at Fauver Stadium. The loss drops RIT to 5-4-2.

RIT fell behind in the 5th minute when Nate Miklos scored at 4:22. Stephen Malteman made it 2-0 at 28:15 on an assist from Miklos.

Dan Slocum (Irondequoit, NY/Bishop Kearney) (Irondequoit, NY/Bishop Kearney) started the game for RIT. He made one save and allowed two goals. Chris Rouland (Center Valley, PA/Southern Lehigh) (Center Valley, PA/Southern Lehigh) made his first appearance of the season, playing the second half, making four saves and not allowing a goal.

RIT was out shot 16-3, while taking just three corner kicks.

RIT faces Empire 8 rival Ithaca College on Saturday, October 8 at 12 p.m. on RIT Field.
