Emily Traversi (Acton, MA/Acton-Boxborough) (Acton, MA/Acton-Boxborough) had a pair of goals to pace the Tigers.
It took RIT a little more than 10 minutes to notch the first goal of the game.
Alaina Chorney (Manalapan, NJ/Manalapan) gathered in a pass from
Anna Kolnik (Sharon, WI/Big Foot) (Sharon, WI/Big Foot), scoring the game-winning goal at the 10:01 mark.
Traversi scored the next two goals, giving the Tigers a 3-0 lead. Her first tally came at 29:32 on an assist from
Jen Rynda (Medford, NJ/Shawnee) (Medford, NJ/Medford), while her second came at 56:44 on an assist from Chorney.
Amanda Sisti (Horseheads, NY/Horseheads) scored her first goal of the season made it 4-0 at 86:34 on an assist from
Rebecca Mahl (Wilson, NY/Wilson) (Wilson, NY/Wilson).
Lynette Serbinski (Stafford, VA/Colonial Forge) got the start in goal for RIT. She played the first 45 minutes, allowing no goals and making one save, picking up her first win of the season.
Jamie Marsden (Roselle, NJ/Pingry School) (Roselle, NJ/Pingry School) played the second half. She did not allow a goal and made a save.
