Women's Swimming and Diving Upended by LeMoyne

SYRACUSE, NY -
The RIT Women's Swimming and Diving Team were defeated by LeMoyne College by a score of 145-82 on Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore Teresa Burr (Delhi, NY/Delhi) (Delhi, NY/Delhi) won the 200-yard backstroke in a time of 2:22.43.  Sophomore Gretchen Anderson (Coopersburg, PA/Southern Lehigh) (Coopersburg, PA/Southern Lehigh) won the 3-meter diving event with a score of 148.40.

Also winning an event for the Tigers was Sarah Keesler (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott), who won the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 2:37.34.

The 200-yard freestyle relay team which consisted of Tracy Taylor (Johnston, RI/Cranston West) (Johnstown, RI/Cranston West), Laura Beth Lincoln (Rochester, NY/Rush-Henrietta) (Rochester, NY/Rush-Henrietta), Andrea Olson (Plover, WI/Plover) (Plover, WI/Plover) and Meghan Cardillo (Honeoye Falls, NY/Honeoye-Falls Lima) (Honeoye Falls, NY/Honeoye Falls-Lima) won in a time of 2:06.54. 

The Tigersharks return to action on Saturday, February 5th, as they host Nazareth at the Judson Pool.  The meet begins at 1 p.m.
