Men's Soccer Drops First Game of Season

CANTON, NY - The RIT men's soccer team had its season-opening four-game winning streak stopped by St. Lawrence University on Friday afternoon, as they fell, 3-1 to the Saints in Canton, NY.

Trailing 3-0 in the second half, freshman sensation Mark Frisicano (Rochester, NY/Greece Olympia) (Rochester, NY/Greece Olympia) scored his team-leading fourth goal of the season in the 50th minute to cut the Saints lead to 3-1.  The Tigers out-shot St. Lawrence 8-7 in the contest.

Charlie Bour, Charlie Bogosian and Gil Schaper scored first half goals for St. Lawrence (4-1-0).

RIT (4-1-0) returns to action tomorrow, as the men play at Clarkson at 1 p.m.
