CORTLAND -- The RIT (9-13) baseball team was defeated by Cortland State (21-11), 6-1. RIT scored one run on seven hits and commited one error.

Jeff Ware (Orchard Park, NY/St. Francis) and Rob Ogborne (Penfield, NY/Penfield) each had a pair of hits for the Tigers. Ware went 2-4 with a run scored, while Ogborne went 2-4. Dylan Rees (Wampsville, NY/Oneida) got the start for RITlooking for his first win of the season. He allowed five runs on nine hits in seven innings. He struck out six and walked one despite taking the loss.

The Tigers will host Hilbert College tomorrow afternoon at 12 p.m. at RIT Field.
