ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT women's swimming/diving teams were defeated by Alfred University 149-90 on Saturday afternoon at the Judson Pool.

Sophomore Sarah Keesler (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) won a pair of individual events against the Saxons on Saturday. She won the 200-yd. IM in a time of 2:22.25 and won the 200-yd. Breaststroke in a time of 2:36.27.

Sophomore Theresa Burr (Delhi, NY/Delhi) won the 200-yd. freestyle in a time of 2:06.05 and was second in the 200-yd. backstroke with a time of 2:21.32.

Diver Gretchen Anderson (Coopersburg, PA/Southern Lehigh) (Coopersburg, PA/Southern Lehigh) won the 3-meter diving event with a score of 176.85. The sophomore diver placed second in the 1-meter event with a score of 185.10.

The Tigersharks travel to the University of Rochester next Saturday December 11beginning at 1 p.m.
