Click For ResultsROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT women's/swimming teams were defeated by the University of Rochester, 134-88 on Saturday afternoon at the U of R. The loss drops RIT to 2-3 in dual meets this season.
Sarah Keesler (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) paced RIT wit a win in the 100 Breaststroke (1:12.93). She also placed second in the 200 IM with a time of 2:21.44.
Keesler along with
Jamie Garver (Trenton, ME/Mt. Desert Island) (Trenton, ME/Mt. Desert Island), Teresa Burr (Delhi, NY/Delhi) (Delhi, NY/Delhi) and
Stefanie Owczarczak (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca) (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca) won the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:01.62.
Garver finished in a tie for first in the 100 Free with a time of 58.34.
The Tigers also won the 200 Freestyle Relay. The team of
Eve Pritchard (Lee Center, NY/Adirondack) (Lee Center, NY/Adirondack), Gretchen Anderson (Coopersburg, PA/Southern Lehigh) (Coopersburg, PA/Southern Lehigh), Missy Wilbert (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) and
Kate Savidge (New Cumberland, PA/Red Land) (New Cumberland, PA/Red Land) won with a time of 1:55.9.
Anderson also placed first in the 3-meter diving event with a score of 155.10.
RIT will travel to Utica College on January 15 for a meet with the Pioneers that get's underway at 1 p.m.
