Women's Soccer Battles Alfred to Scoreless Draw

ALFRED, NY -
The RIT Women's Soccer Team extended its unbeaten streak to four games after playing to a scoreless draw versus Alfred University on Wednesday evening.

RIT (4-5-2, 1-1-2 Empire 8) held the advantage in play, but was not unable to convert on any of their chances.  The Tigers recorded nine shots on goal to Alfred's six.  Carrie Yehle (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) (Clifton Park, NY/Shenadahowa) finished with six saves to record shutouts. 

RIT has allowed just one goal during their unbeaten steak.

Anna Kolnik (Sharon, WI/Big Foot) (Sharon, WI/Big Foot) recorded eight shots, six on goal to lead the Tigers offensively. 

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, as they host the Bombers of Ithaca College in a critical Empire 8 match at 12 p.m.
