Rochester, N.Y. -- The RIT women's tennis team hosted Saint John Fisher on Thursday, September 18th. Going into the match RIT was 3-1 but after their 5-2 win today they upped their record to 4-1.
Sara Kula (Davie, FL/Lafayette) and Lindsey Brady (Emmaus, PA/Emmaus) helped out the team winning 8-0 at first doubles. In singles Kula, Jenn Hume, Brady and freshman Emily Ross (Moreland Hills, OH/Orange) also aided the team with wins. Fifth singles, Aimee Holmberg was unable to play her match due to the rain showers but luckily the team got 5 points to secure the win before the rains came.
On Saturday, September 20th the women's tennis team will travel to Brockport to play their match at 1 pm.
