Rochester, N.Y. -- The Rochester Institute of Technology women's tennis team adds another win to their record and increases it to 3-1 as they played Alfred University on September 15th. Alfred University was 2-2 going into this match but were defeated by the Lady Tigers.

The tennis match started outside with singles because of the weather forcast and ended up finishing their match at the indoor courts. In singles RIT won 5 out of 6 singles matches to guarantee their win. For doubles the only team to win was Melanie Blass (Bridgeport, NY/Chittenango) and Amanda Ashline (Lowville, NY/Lowville Academy) at third doubles.

Thursday, September 18th the RIT Tigers host St. John Fisher at 4 pm.
