PITTSFORD, N.Y. -- Rochester Institute of Technology attackman Andrew Pratt (Rochester, N.Y./Irondequoit H.S.) scored two goals and added four assists in the first half of the Tigers' 16-3 victory at St. John Fisher Wednesday evening.

Pratt helped ignite RIT's offensive onslaught in the first half having a hand in four of the Tigers' first six goals with two goals and two assists. RIT outshot the Cardinals 34-4 en route to a 12-2 advantage.

David Thering (Fairport, NY/Fairport H.S.) added three goals and three assists for RIT, while Zach Bednarz (Webster, NY/Webster Schroeder), Chris Copeland (Webster, NY/Webster) and Dave Demuth (Jordan, N.Y./Jordan Elbridge) each added a pair of goals apiece.

With the large first-half advantage, RIT was able to get most of its reserves in the second half and had four goalies play in the contest with Jon Sinclair (Herndon, VA/Herndon H.S.) going 30:00 with one save and two goals allowed, while Luke Pitcher (Painted Post, NY/Corning West) played 10:13 with a goal allowed, Alex VanderEls (Fairfax, VA/W.T. Woodson) went 11:08 with three saves and Ryan Weisman (Jarrettsville, MD/Calvert Hall) stopped three shots in 8:39.

Joe Alonge, who had a 30-plus save performance against the Tigers last season, made 11 saves and allowed 15 goals in 45:00.

The Tigers host No. 6-ranked Cortland State on Saturday, April 12 at 3 p.m.
