BUFFALO, NY -- The women's voleyball team was defeated by Buffalo State, 3-1 (21-30, 30-25, 27-30, 26-30) this evening in Buffalo. RIT entered the evening having won their last five matches.

RIT was led by Missy Groginski (Brewertown, NY/Paul V. Moore) (Brewerton, NY) who had 21 kills and 23 digs. Sarah Ballard (Lakeview, NY/Frontier) (Lake View, NY) added 43 assists and 20 digs.

The loss drops RIT to 21-12 on the season. The Tigers will travel to St. Lawrence University this weekend for the New York State Women's Collegiate Athletic Association Volleyball championship.
