ROCHESTER, NY -- The women's volleyball team was defeated by Nazareth College, 3-1 (33-31, 20-30, 17-30, 25-30) in Empire 8 play this evening at Nazareth College. After winning the first game 33-31 the Tigers went on to lose the next three games.

Christine Anabel led RIT with 10 kills and 10 assists. Bonnie Harriman (Danbury, CT/Danbury) added 11 kills, while Dani Fisher (Pittsburgh, PA/Plum Borough) had six kills and a team-high six blocks. Junior Sarah Ballard (Lakeview, NY/Frontier) added 33 assists and eight digs.

RIT falls to 13-10 overall and 1-1 in the Empire 8.
