ROCHESTER, NY -- The men's soccer team won their second straight game with a 3-0 win over Empire 8 rival Nazareth College on a cold afternoon at RIT Field. The win improves RIT's record to 7-8-1 overall and 2-4-0 in the Empire 8. Nazareth falls to 7-4-2 overall and 3-2-1 in the Empire 8.

RIT controlled the game right from the beginning. The goal was the first one allowed by Nazareth n five games. RIT kept up the pressure on Nazareth's defense, firing eight shots in the first half. Trae Lower (Biglerville, PA) tallied a goal late in the first half on an assist from Mike Lawson (Wall, NJ), giving the Tigers a 2-0 half time lead.

RIT put the game out of reach in the 53rd minute with Lowers second goal of the game. He and Brian Aderer (Acton, MA) played a nifty one-two inside the penalty area culminating in Lower's goal. RIT out shot Nazareth 9-4 in the second half as Matt Klosner (Lowville, NY) and the Tiger's defense turned in another strong performance defensively.
