RIT Defeated 134-98 by William Smith

After a tough loss to SUNY Geneseo on January 18, the RIT women's swimming and diving team took back to the pool on January 21 against William Smith. They were defeated 134-98, but had several high placed individuals. In the 1000 freestyle Brittany Kitzke (Knoxville, TN/) finished first with a time of 12:52.09. Her time was almost five seconds faster than the second place finisher from William Smith. Jennifer Indovina (Rochester, NY/) placed first in the 200 freestyle in 2:06.41. In the 1-meter diving event Mickenzie Pebbles placed second, and Rebecca Light finished in third. In the 3-meter diving event Rebecca Light placed first and Alexis Newman (Hamlin, NY/) placed second. William and Smith's Sarah Costanza broke a school and pool record in the event, but was exhibition. The Tigers will race again on January 29 at home against Brockport.
