The RIT women’s swimming and diving team was defeated by Geneseo 128-87 despite a tremendous performance by the diving team. RIT finished 1-2-3 in the 1 meter diving event, and 1st and 2nd in the 3 meter diving event. Leading the Tigers in the 1 meter event was Mickenzie Pebles with 232. 95. Rebecca Light led RIT in the 3 meter event, followed by Alexis Newman (Hamlin, NY/). Daniela Palacio (Floreanopolis, Brazil/) placed third in the 200 yard freestyle for the Tigers and also second in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 57.70. In the 200 yard freestyle relay RIT took first place with a time of 1:49.97. The members of the relay were Palacio, Brooke Chornyak (Ellsworth, ME/), Christy Burcham (Victor, NY/), and Jennifer Indovina (Rochester, NY/). Click here to view full meet results
