RIT Swimming and Diving Defeated by Geneseo

The RIT men’s swimming and diving team was defeated by Geneseo 131-108 on Saturday, January 18, 2003. The Tiger highlights include Peter Kaemmerlen (Fairport, N.Y./)’s victory in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:06.07. He defeated his nearest opponent Josh Hinman of Geneseo by over 35 seconds. Kaemmerlen also finished first in the 200 yard IM. In the men’s 50 yard freestyle RIT had a 1-2-3 sweep with Erik Zelbacher (Victor, N.Y./) in first, Mike Flannery (Southampton, CT/) in second, and David Koh (Danvers, Mass./) in third. The Tigers finished the meet off positively finishing first in the 200 yard freestyle relay. Members of the relay were Erik Zelbacher (Victor, N.Y./), Tyler Morrison (Hartford, Conn./), Tex Thompson, and Mike Flannery (Southampton, CT/). In the 3 meter diving event Pat Graham (East Grand Rapids, MI/) earned the victory with 259.55 points. Click here to view full meet results
