ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Rochester Institute of Technology Women's soccer team recorded its second victory of the season with a 3-1 win over Keuka College on Saturday afternoon.

RIT's Brooke Thompson (Avon Lake, OH/Avon Lake) scored the only goal of the first half at 19:01 from 20 yards out, up and over Keuka's goalkeeper Jessica Skelton. Donna Maltagliati tied the game 9:36 into the second period on a pass from Liz Ryan.

Melanie Lowe (Kingston, Jamaica/Northfield Mount Hermon) scored the game-winner for RIT just three minutes later when Skelton game out of the box to stop Trisha Schepler (Hilton, N.Y./Hilton)'s shot. Schepler passed the ball to the front of the net, where Lowe was waiting for the clean and easy goal.

The final goal of the game was scored by senior tri-captain Megan Condon (Bohemia, N.Y./East Islip) on a penalty kick. Keuka was fouled when one of its defensemen tripped Carmen Jimenez (Santo Domingo, D.R./Colegio Babeque Secundaria) as she was taking a shot on goal.

The Tiger squad travels to Buffalo State on Wednesday and returns to home field next Saturday as they take on the Saxons of Alfred State.
