Rochester, N.Y. -- The RIT men’s swimming and diving lost a heartbreaker to Alfred after leading most of the meet. Alfred gained the victory after a 1-2-3 sweep in the men’s 100-yard breaststroke, lead by Brian Gotham. RIT started out strong with a 2nd place finish in the 400-yard medley relay, and continued with a victory by Peter Kaemmerlen in the 200-yard freestyle. Kaemmerlen later finished first in the 200 yard IM and the 500-yard freestyle. Erik Zelbacher earned a victory in the 50-yard freestyle. Pat Graham finished 1st in the men’s 1M, followed close behind by teammate Ryan Schaefer who finished in 2nd position. They also earned a 1-2 finish in the 3M diving event.
