ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Tigers put forth a strong battle against the nationally ranked Nazareth College at Clark Gymnasium. The large crowd packed the gym but was unable to help lead RIT to victory, as the Golden Flyers took the 3-0 win (30-14, 30-19, 30-23).

Co-captain Amy Baxter (San Antonio, Texas/Theodore Roosevelt) (San Antonio, Texas) led the tigers with a hitting percentage of .308, five kills, and 12 digs while teammate Charity Sanders (Olathe, KS) closed out the night with nine kills and five blocks. Christa Downey (Livonia, N.Y.), who is leading the Empire 8 in kills, led the Golden Flyers offense.

RIT will return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 8 as they travel to Alfred University.
