Jill Turner Dumont was a two-sport standout at RIT, as a soccer goalkeeper and defenseman in hockey. The native of Easthampton, MA graduated with a degree in criminal justice in 1988. Turner Dumont was named the RIT Senior Athlete of the Year in 1988. As a soccer standout, she holds several RIT records, including season records for shutouts (9, 1985), goals against average (0.94, 1985) and career records for games played (66), minutes played (5,973) and shutouts (19). She led the Tigers to the NYSWCAA Championship game in 1985. As a hockey player, Turner Dumont led the Tigers to a 34-25-3 record and three trips to the ECAC Tournament. She recorded 43 career points and was named to play in the 1987-88 Senior All-Star Game. Turner Dumont was captain of the both the soccer and hockey teams during her senior year.
