Jacqueline Mozrall (Reynolds) Class of 1987

Induction Class of 1995
Women's Soccer

When women soccer became a varsity sport at RIT in 1982, former coach Paul Carcaci knew he had one of the answers. North Greenbush, N.Y. native Jackie Reynolds helped guide the team to its first appearance in the NYSWCAA championship in 1984, and when it was over, she walked off with All-Tournament honors, which was the first such accomplishment in RIT women’s soccer history. Throughout her stellar career, she played in every contest at every position except goal. In that time, she tallied 43 points, which ranks her sixth on the career-scoring list. Her best offensive output came in 1982 when she accounted for 16 points in 11 games, coming on seven goals and two assists. After one year as a midfielder, she played her last three years as defender, and in 1985 she was named second team All-NYSWCAA. The two-year captain still shares the school record with four goals in a game, coming against Roberts Wesleyan in 1983. She ended her career in style as 1985-86 Co-Senior Women’s Athlete of the Year. Not one to shun her academics, she maintained a 3.40 grade point average in industrial engineering. Since receiving her bachelor’s degree (1987), Reynolds has earned her masters degree from North Carolina State and doctorate at University at Buffalo.
