Grant Perry is considered one of the best defenders to come through the RIT soccer program.  Perry was a first team All-American selection in 1989 and a three-time All-New York State first team selection from 1987 to 1989.  Perry finished his career with 15 goals and 11 assists for 41 points.  When Perry graduated, he was 11th in all-time scoring at RIT and is currently 19th.  Perry's overall record as a Tiger was 61-8-4.  He led the Tigers to four consecutive NCAA appearances and was part of the National Championship runner-up team  in 1988.  Perry was selected as the Senior Co-Male Athlete of the Year in 1990.
