From 1973-75, Len Williams scored 95 points on 59 goals and 36 assists. In 1973, Len scored 37 goals, a season record that stood for two decades. Three times, the Lake Placid, N.Y. native scored five goals in a contest. In addition to extensive youth hockey coaching, he served as junior varsity and assistant coach at RIT from 1976 to 1980. He also coached at Eastridge High School and was assistant instructor at the Stan Mikita Hockey Camp for Hearing Impaired in Chicago. Before RIT, Len participated in the FISU World Games where he was the youngest player and leading scorer. In 1975 and 1979 he played on the Deaf Olympic Team and the USA Deaf World Team where he again led the team in scoring. He also had tryouts with the Philadelphia Blazers (WHA) and Chicago Blackhawks (NHL).
