Giannino placed ninth overall out of 112 runners, as RIT finished fourth out of 10 teams at the 2011 NYSCTC Championships hosted by St. Lawrence University on Saturday afternoon.  Giannino finished the slick, muddy, 8,000-meter course in a time of 26:25.
