Marion, qualified for the 2011 NCAA Championships by finishing third in the 400-meter hurdles in the ECAC Championships with a career-best time of 52.89 seconds. Marion, who was an All-American in the 400-meter hurdles during the outdoor season in 2010, will make his third straight appearance in the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 400-meter hurdles. Marion finished 12th in 2009 and seventh in 2010. He currently has the ninth fastest time in the nation of 52:89 seconds. In 2011, Marion made his indoor track NCAA Championship debut in the pentathlon, finishing ninth. He did set a NCAA Championship record by winning the 1,000-meter run during the event with a time of 2:35.18. The 400-meter hurdle prelims will get underway at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, with the finals getting underway at 3:45 p.m. Saturday.
