Kurvach won the Cobleskill Invitational, defeating 128 runners in a time of 27:34, nearly a minute faster than what he ran the 8,000 meter course in a year earlier. He led RIT to the team title, as RIT scored 19 points to win handily. Senior Zach Miller finished a close second, crossing the line just three seconds after Kurvach. Junior Mike Bradley was the third Tiger in as he finished fourth overall in a time of 27:45.
Coach Dave Warth was extremely pleased with the team’s performance; “the men won handily with a great racing effort by the front 5, especially Kurvach, Bradley and Miller.”
