Schaffer was named MVP of the St. Lawrence Invitational over the weekend, leading RIT to a second place finish.  She opened the week with 14 kills and nine digs in a three-game win over Oswego, then slammed 19 kills in back to back wins over SUNY IT and Plattsburgh.  She also recorded 15 digs in the Plattsburgh win.  Schaffer ended the week with 20 kills and 14 digs in a five-game loss to St. Lawrence.  Schaffer recorded 72 kills and 48 digs while hitting .293 over the week.  She is averaging 4.65 kills per game (130 in 27 games)
