Marion recorded a season-best time of 53.14 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles on Thursday at Oneonta, qualifying him for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the event for the second straight season. That time is the 14th best in Division III. The NCAA trials get underway on Thursday at 5:20 p.m., with the championships getting underway on Saturday at 3:25 p.m. Last year, Marion finished fifth in his heat with a time of 53.38 seconds. He has a career-best time of 53.07 seconds, set last year in the event.
