MacRae was named Most Valuable Player of the Empire 8 Men’s Lacrosse Championship as RIT won its first conference title since 2006.  He recorded five caused turnovers and five ground balls, while also scoring once in the final, a 9-6 Tigers’ victory over Ithaca. He shut down the top scorers on Nazareth and Ithaca as the Tigers gave up a total of 13 goals in two games, posting a 13-7 semifinal win over the Golden Flyers.
