Walker was named the 2010 Empire 8 Outdoor Championship Outstanding Field Athlete.  He won the hammer throw with an Empire 8 championship record toss of 48.82 meters, and annexed the discus throw with a toss of 38.87 meters.  He earned All-Empire 8 first team honors in both events.  Walker placed second in the shot put with a throw of 12.68 meters, earning All-Empire 8 second team honors.  RIT placed second in the Empire 8 Championships.
