Carson was named the Empire 8 Tournament MVP after leading all players with 27 points, 13 rebounds and four steals in the championship win over Nazareth on Sunday. He shot 11-for-13 from the field and nabbed his 24th double-double of the season.  On Saturday, Carson added 14 points and 13 rebounds in the win over Utica.  He moved into seventh place all-time in one season at RIT with 533 points and needs 11 more boards to become the all-time single season leader at RIT.
