Burr was named the 2009 UNYSCSA Swimmer of the Meet after winning three individual titles, setting three individual records and helping set four relay records. Burr took home the title in the 200-yard IM. She won the event in a school record and NCAA "A" qualifying time of 2:05.64. She demolished her school record by nearly four seconds. On Friday afternoon, Burr broke her own school record in the both the preliminaries and final of the 100-yard butterfly. She had the fastest time of all swimmers, completing the event in 56.71 seconds. That time broke her own school record of 58.10 seconds, set last year. She recorded a time of 56.97 seconds in the preliminaries earlier in the day. On Saturday, Burr won the 200-yard butterfly. She recorded a school record time of 2:05.65 in the preliminaries and won the final in 2:06.48. She was part of the 200-freestyle relay (1:40.48), 400-free relay (3:37.73), 800-free relay (7:55.07) and 200-medley relay (1:51.85) that shattered school marks as well.
