DeMichiel made his first start of the season on Saturday against Western Michigan and stopped 33-of-34 shots in helping lead the Tigers to their first win of the season, 2-1 over Western Michigan. DeMichiel made a handful of tremendous saves on Western Michigan odd-man rushes when RIT was down 1-0, including an amazing glove save on a cross-ice, 2-on-1 feed.
