Yates, a defender, scored his first collegiate goal on Saturday, giving RIT a 1-0 win in an eventual 2-1 win over Allegheny.  He played outstanding defense all weekend, and was named to the Allegheny Soccer Classic All-Tournament team.  In the championship game, Yates led RIT to its first shutout of the season, 1-0 over Oberlin.  Yates and the Tigers have won four straight games, including three this past week.
