Sliker won the Field of Dreams Invitational hosted by Houghton College on Saturday afternoon. The win was her second in three weeks, as she finished the 5,000-meter course in 18:34. Sliker now has three consecutive top-3 finishes, and won Saturday's race by 1:05. RIT won the event, finishing with a team score of 28 points.

"Trish is running with a lot of strength and confidence right now," said RIT Head Coach Dave Warth.  "She is very comfortable running up front and maintaining a strong tempo.  We are defiantly looking forward to the latter part of the year where her strength over 6K will really show."
