Cannan's play in the midfield helped propel RIT to a 2-0 week. on Wednesday, the junior transfer won an unprecedented 21-of-24 face-offs, while recording 11 ground balls in a 16-8 win over St. John Fisher. On Saturday, Cannan won 14-of-21 face-offs and grabbed a season's best 13 ground balls in a 9-8 overtime win over Oswego State. Cannan has won 129-of-204 (63.2 percent) face-offs and leads RIT with 70 ground balls.
