Thering led RIT to two Empire 8 wins this week, tallying five goals, five assists. On Wednesday, he scored twice and added three assists in an 11-3 win at Elmira. On Saturday, Thering recorded a hat-trick and added a pair of assists, as RIT defeated Alfred 14-6. Thering leads RIT with 17 goals, 18 assists and 35 points in just seven games. Thering needs just one goal to become the 12th Tiger to reach 100 for his career.
