Wake went 5-0 during the week. On Wednesday, he defeated Matt Aird of SUNY Morrisville 7-0. On Saturday, Wake won all four of his matches on Saturday at the Thiel Tomcat Five, helping lead RIT to its first two dual wins of the season. Wake started the day by defeating Jeff Broduer of Mercyhurst North East at 174 lbs., 6-1. He then switched back to his normal class of 165 lbs., and defeated Adam Harris of Muskingum, 13-5. Wake picked up a forfeit win at 165 against West Virginia Tech and ended the day with a 10-1 win over Bo Morrell of Thiel. Wake improved his record to 19-11 overall this season and 9-4 in dual matches. Wake has five major decisions and four wins by pinfall.
