Razavi, playing at sixth singles, won the decisive fourth point in the Empire 8 Championship match on Sunday, giving the Tigers a 4-3 win over Ithaca and the 2005 E8 title. Razavi did not have a loss in the three E8 matches. Razavi teammed with David Chachu to be victorious in first singles versus Utica, Alfred and Ithaca. Razavi defeated Darren Hochberg of Ithaca 7-5, 6-3 for the Empire 8 title.
