Schaffer was named the MVP of the NYU Invitational, leading RIT to a second-place finish and 3-1 mark on the weekend.  She recorded 61 kills and added 59 digs, helping RIT improve to 19-7 in 2007.  She had double digit kills and digs in each match during the tournament.  It is the second Tournament MVP honor and fifth All-Tournament Team she has been selected to this season.
