Werner was named MVP of the Red Dragon Invitational at Oneonta State, leading RIT to the championship. The Tigers went 5-0 on the weekend, winning 15-of-16 games. Werner, a setter, recorded 175 assists and 40 digs in leading RIT. In the championship match versus Oneonta State, Werner dished out 50 assists and had 16 digs. The 50 assists were one short of her career high.
