Sophomore standout Danielle Simmons was named NYSCTC Outstanding Female Track Events Athlete. Simmons medaled in five events at the conference championships. She was meet champion in two; the 200 meter dash, where she ran a 26.41 for a new RIT record, and the 500 meter dash (77.18 sec). Simmons was also on the 4x200, 4x400 and 4x800 meter relay teams, which placed third, sixth and second, respectively.
