Murphy equaled his career high of 28 points and became the 18th player in RIT history to score 1,000 career points in a loss to St. John Fisher College on Friday. The senior foward tallied 26 points and pulled down nine rebounds in an 87-70 win over Alfred, hitting five of eight 3-point attempts on Saturday. For the week, he averaged 26.5 points and 9.0 rebounds, while shooting 52 percent from the field and 3-point range. He now has 1,049 career points, placing him 14th on RIT's all-time scoring list and is the school’s all-time leader in 3-pointers.
